The Boat

Odysea II is a 2019 Ranger Tugs 31 CB. Ranger Tugs (rangertugs.com) is a division of Fluid Motion in Auburn Washington just south of Seattle.

Ranger Tugs builds boats from 23 to 43 feet and are known for building boats that are with a host of options in small packages.  We migrated to the 31 because of the large cockpit, walk around queen bed and single engine.  Having a flybridge, or command bridge, CB as Ranger Tug calls it was also a must.

Other bonus features are a wine fridge and microwave in the galley, an ice maker in the cockpit and day head (toilet only) just inside the cabin door.

The 31 is trailerable; however as it needs a special trailer and a larger truck, plus is a permit load I say the boat is transportable more than trailerable.

We purchased the boat from Reed Yacht Sales in La Salle Michigan just north of Toledo Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie.  Special thanks to Chuck Hutchins with Reed that made the whole buying experience seamless.  The boat had only 90 hours on the engine and was stored inside a warehouse so was like new.

Below is a summary of the specifications of the boat.
